I'm seeing Old Dentist next week to have a bad bit scrubbed out of a back tooth & the tooth sealed (not a cavity, just a rough spot)... I agree with you, I am unimpressed with his manner and may well follow you to New Dentist, but I've actually heard Good Things about his work from another patient who knew him before he took over our Previous Dentist's office. The words "thorough" and "gentle" were used. *sigh* What to do, what to do?
You know I told him I didn't like his Lack of Surgical Mask when he peered down into my mouth and he kinda laughed as if I'd made a joke but still didn't put it on? I told on him to the nurses and they were apparently all over his butt for that. He has two strikes in my book, the first being bad breath, and I suppose I really should cancel my appointment, but I want to see what his work is like. I hope this isn't my very first Bad Dental Experience. So, you really like New Dentist, do ya? *double-sigh*
On my health front: MASSIVE ASTHMA ATTACK after eating pizza with ricotta cheese on it earlier today. Good pizza. Bad asthma attack. Actually, possibly closer to anaphalactic shock as my left eyelid swelled up and my left cheek and jaw area got tender, as if it were thinking of swelling. I've had two Benedryl and two pseudaphed. I'm feeling a little medically alienated, like I'm outside myself, at the moment. "There's a container of milk in the fridge that's about to go bad... and *there* it goes..."
