Granted, the column was about AMVs, but I still couldn't help feeling like live-action vidding was somehow, I don't know, inferior/suspect/possibly just a rumor.
Yeah, I can definitely feel that vibe off that paragraph, but otoh, I can't help but wonder if they'd even have mentioned us, a year or two ago. I think this is a sign that the push to at least get us *mentioned* as having been here first (dammit *g*) is working, even if it's only in passing.
Hm, and having skimmed the article, it's definitely only in passing -- this seems to be implying that current live-action vidding exists because it was inspired by AMVs, which. Not so much, really...
Still, considering the subject, and the intended audience, even offhand comments are a step forward. *clings to that*
