Here on bradcpu's recommendation... this is marvellous! It is the Ten vid I have been waiting for! (And if you'd heard me yack away about how DW vids rarely hit the right note for me you'd know that's a big call.) The song is in an inspired choice and the intro in particular was absolutely spine-tingly. I *knew* 13 seconds in that this was going to ping the right way for me. You capture so well both the aspects I love about the Doctor and the ones I hate--it's very truthful to the new series, and captures Ten perfectly. I love that you show the surface Ten, as well as his darker layers. I think the relationship between the two is the most compelling aspect of the Doctor, for me, so vids that only deal with the darker/angstier or (sigh) schmoopier aspect of the Doctor don't always work for me, alas, despite their being many great vidders of the fandom. This vid really nailed 'my' (viewing of the) Doctor: thank you!
