Your mom made a passing reference to this incident in one of her emails... and I didn't quite know how to respond. I mean, what do you say; "Yeah, I heard about that, and I sure hope your floors don't cave in" doesn't seem right. Also, I know that paranoia runs rampant in your family and suspect she doesn't need that thought planted in her mind by lil' ol' well-meaning me. She'll be checking for creaks in the linoleum with every step.

Are they okay? Are they looking to move? I always thought a building with a shop downstairs to sell in, and a living space upstairs would be perfect for them. But they didn't seem to want to open a shop.
