Wow. The slow slide down from innocent glee into knowing abandon is downright sick. It starts out all wiggly fingers, funny glasses, smiles, then it gets heavy and irky at the "look at me" to "I can do anything...". I'm already hooked and flailing when the guns come in, the bomb, the years, the ugliness, the violence.

The clips in the second "look at me" make me cringe at the arrogance. From here on out I don't think I blinked. The lyric interpretations are great. Then of course it's the Doctor's glee at his fingersnapping that doesn't feel innocent any longer.

I feel like the shadows that pulled back after looking up the Doctor.

And thank you so much for all of this; this is the stream of reactions we were hoping for, and it is so, so cool to see that it worked. *Especially* from someone who just vidded the same song recently; I haven't even watched your vid yet for fear that I'll bring too much of my own interpretation to it after being immersed in this one for so long, and I am hugely impressed, here, because wow.

I'm all for inappropriate hugging. I don't mind.

To be honest, Ten scares me sometimes and this vid brings all those moments together.

Our vids are quite different. There are things in common, but not for the most part. Your vid hits much harder though because of the gradual build and focus on one character. That and because it's awesome.
