I know. It's amazing. I don't think I added any new shows last year except Deadwood -- at least not any that survived -- did I? I don't think I did. But this year has been astonishing in its not-suckingness.
I'm watching all of the ones you mentioned above (except Crossing Jordan) plus I've managed to pick up a couple more -- House, Numb3rs (that 3 makes me all dyslexic) and -- god help me -- I'm watching Young Blades on Pax. I know, Pax. But they've had one good show before (Mysterious Ways) and this one is slashy and fun, if you don't try to take it too seriously. It's a little history, a little genre, but kind of not really either.
But gee, it sure is pretty, even if they are a little young. The guy playing D'Artagan (Jr.) is the same actor who plays Zak Adama. His musketeer "buddy" is also young and cute, and there's a young and cute Spanish guy. And Bruce Boxleitner, who is still cute. And Michael Ironside, who is still Teh Evil. (The pilot airs again this weekend, Sunday at 8, just, you know,btw.)
