In terms of being show-context-free, that's pretty much exactly the feeling I was going for
Oh, yay -- it's always a little nerve-wracking, saying "this is what I saw" when you don't have enough context to know if you're right. *g*
And the effects were really wonderful; I'm not a fan of effects for the sake of effects, but these served the vid's story and emotional tone wonderfully. (Also, I'm jealous of the seamless layering you managed...)
