Well, an update of sorts, although most of the info they gleaned the next day was not much help.
--The police who came were Federal Marshalls
--Although they claimed he wasn't being charged, they also didn't actually *find* him... so maybe they will grab him up if they actually track him down. Perhaps they were being all coy and didn't want him to think they'd arrest him... despite the fact that they broke his door down rather than knock and announce themselves?
--and, best of all, the destruction to the apartment does seem to be on such a level that no one will be moving back in any time soon.
